This finely and rich decorated Napoléon III fireplace, made out of the Carrara-statué marble, dates back to the late 19th century. The moulded, break-front shelf rests above a panelled frieze with delicate carvings. In the center a shield and drapery, (a dentil-detail, under-left, is missing on the photo, but replaced now). Floral endblocks above tapering, decorated jambs, standing on sturdy footblocks. Photo's are taken before removal. Fireplace is in perfect condition and cleaned now in my workshop. Large: 66.54 inch (169 cm). This fireplace is a 'surround' (or 'mantel'), so with deep sidepanels and tablet-retours, but can be also replaced as a 'frontmodel'. Depth of the tablet is 40 cm (15.74 inch). This fireplace will be delivered with its own frontfloor marble-tiles, but can be also delivered with original black tiles and a stone-frame.
